What’s a zine?
You might have asked yourself lately. Well, a zine, short for fanzine, is a fanmade and self-published collection of creative works. And to keep it simple, it's gonna be a fanbook filled with Sanvers fanarts, fanfics and some surprises!Will the zine be digital or physical?
Both, we’re planning to create a (NSFW) digital zine and a (SFW) physical zine, merch and digital (pdf) included.Is this zine for profit or for charity?
The zine will be for charity! Which means that once we’ve covered production and shipping costs we will donate the profit to a charity. Right now we have three organisations in mind, splitting the costs will depend on the profit we make! If possible we will be splitting the donations evenly between True Colors United, Be Vocal Speak Up/To Write Love On Her Arms and LA Ghetto Rescue. We will keep everyone updated.Can I submit fanart/fanfics I’ve created in the past?
Yes! We want to showcase old and new fanarts/fanfics!

Yes! Traditional art is allowed as long as a high quality scan can be provided.I’m a mod - can I still contribute to the zine?

Artists Guideline• We would love to see three of your best works that reflect your style best.
• Artworks need to be completed!
• Full background illustrations are very much appreciated!
• You can submit NSFW art, but you have to be 18+ to contribute to the digital zine.
• Feel free to link us to your portfolio - this can be a twitter moment, a tag on tumblr or even an actual portfolio site.
• All pieces you make for the zine must be new or not published.
• We’ll be looking at your skills, your use of colours and light, creativity and the overall atmosphere of your work!
• You can team up with a fellow artist/writer if you want! Just make sure you're letting us know!Writers Guideline• We would love to see three of your best works that reflect your style best.
• All excerpts should be 3k words max to see if you can wrap up a storyline within that word count.
• You can submit NSFW fics, but you have to be 18+ to contribute to the digital zine.
• Feel free to link us to your AO3 site!
• All pieces you make for the zine must be new or not published.
• We are looking for solid grammar, good characterization and creativity.
• Our beta readers will review all pieces for spelling, grammar and punctuation to make sure it’s correct.
• You can team up with a fellow writer/artist if you want! Just make sure you're letting us know!Merch Guidelines• We would love to see three of your best works that reflect your style best. Samples with full background are preferred if you intend to design a print.
• At least one example must show the style you will use for merch.
It’s appreciated to apply with previous merch designs you’ve created.
• If you want to design phone/desktop wallpapers for the digital zine please include a piece with a full background!

Yes! In case you want to apply for both artist and writer, you will only be accepted as an artist or writer. Artists who sign up for creating an artwork and merch can be selected for both or only one position.What are the zine specification?

The minimum word count will be 2.5k and the maximum will be 5k.How many pieces of art will artists be expected to create?
Each artist can create one artwork, if you’re interested in creating more please let us now in the appliance. Comic artists can create three to four pages.How many pieces of merch will merch artists be expected to create?
This will depend on the skills of the merch artists and the samples they provide. But we’re looking for two/three artists who can create a design for bookmarks, prints, buttons, sticker sheets, and for our digital zine desktop, phone and tablet wallpapers.What should be the size of the desktop and phone wallpapers?
Desktop wallpapers: 1280 x 1024 and/or 1920 x 1080 px
Phone/Tablet wallpapers: 1600 x 900 and/or 1920 x 1080 pxCan I share my work on social media before the zine has been shipped?
We ask you not to show your full piece on any social media platform before the zine has been shipped! You can talk about it, you might even can tease, but please never show the full work!What about the ownership of the pieces someone creates for the zine?
All the artworks and fanfics will belong to the contributors, we’re just asking you not to share your work on any social media platforms until the zine is released and shipped!
